New article calls for research on Personally Managed Health Data

April 23, 2018

A new article has been published in the Journal of Biomedical Informatics from key contributors to the iManageCancer project calling for submissions to a special issue laying out a vision of personally managed health care.

The journal special issue aims to outline the barriers, approaches and a roadmap for the future for this critical developing area.

The guest editors are seeking papers that explore in depth new methodological approaches for overcoming barriers to the adoption of personal health systems and other forms of patient-centred medical record systems.

Further information can be found here or for questions on the suitability of articles for the special issue please contact guest editor, Haridimos Kondylakis

This will be the second special issue commissioned from topics explored by the iManageCancer project. The first will be published in the open access journal ecancermedicalscience. This special issue will focus on patient empowerment and will feature some of the latest work from iManageCancer. Check back here or sign-up to our newsletter for news on publication.
